Do you recall the saying? "Practice Makes Perfect"
Do you remember hearing it in school from a parent (s), relative, teacher, instructor, friend, supervisor, etc.?
What does it mean?
Well, according to the source Practice Makes Perfect | Phrase Definition, Origin & Examples (gingersoftware.com) "the phrase practice makes perfect is used to indicate that the more a skill is practiced, the better one becomes at it."
I agree with this phrase 100%.
In 2021, I became interested in sewing when my husband purchased a vintage Singer Slant-O-Matic from Habitat for Humanity Restore.
Little did I know, this would be the beginning of my sewing journey. If you are interested in hearing about my sewing journey, please click on the Podcast Tab located at the top of this website or you can visit my podcast here https://media.rss.com/theslothsewist/feed.xml
Back to the topic of this post, practice makes perfect. I have learned within my year and a half that, I need to practice, practice, practice because it will help me with my sewing skills and sewing techniques.
If I practice every day, I can master the basic skills that are required when sewing.
In addition, I can take the basic skills that I have learned and advance it by adding new sewing techniques to it.
