Personal Hygiene Travel Bags

Published on 19 June 2023 at 17:45

Within the past few months, I got my Inviglin braces.

If you ever had braces, you know the pros and cons of them.

Since getting my Inviglin, I have been in need of a personal hygiene travel bag.

In this travel bag, I will carry a toothbrush, dental floss, and toothpaste to properly clean my Inviglin after removing them and before inserting them back on my teeth.

This is why yesterday and today.

I was busy making personal hygiene travel bags for my husband and me.

Was it easy to make these travel bags?  Why or why not?

Since this was my first time making a bag of this type.

I had to watch a YouTube video on how to make a travel bag and which way to place my zipper to ensure that my outer fabric and lining fabric are on the correct sides.

It was an easy process.

Not only did I make one personal hygiene travel bag, I made two bags.

Did I use a pattern?

Yes, I used a free online pdf pattern.

Did I make any modifications to the pattern? If yes, why?

No, I did not make any modifications this time.

Will I use the pattern again?

Yes, I will.

Will I make modifications to the pattern? If yes, why?

Yes, I will.

I will add the following modifications to my bag.

I will self draft pockets for the inside of the bag to hold additional items.

In addition, the seams of the lining fabric will not be seen when I open the bag. I want it to have a professional look.

Overall, I enjoyed making these personal hygiene bags, and I am looking forward to make one each for my two sons.
